Post-Storm Checklist
After a storm, test and clean before you treat. Leaves and soil consume chlorine and clog filtration.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets
- Brush walls and steps to knock off debris film
- Test pH and free chlorine and correct gradually
The One Thing People Miss
Run the filter longer for 24 hours after big debris events. Chemistry alone cannot fix a filter that is not capturing the fine stuff.
