Confirm the Basics

- Confirm thermostat setpoint and mode
- Look for error codes and do not ignore them
When to Stop and Call
Gas smell, repeated ignition attempts, or persistent error codes are not DIY territory. Shut down and call for service to avoid damage or risk.
